Where classical craft meets engineering.

τέχνη — the Greek root of technology — means art, craft, mastery. I build RESTful APIs, microservices and scalable systems in the Java/Spring ecosystem — and in Node.js/NestJS too — with the patience of a sculptor and the rigor of an engineer.

I believe software is a form of architecture — invisible, yet inhabited every day.

The Greeks drew no line between art and technique. To them, doing something well was one and the same, whether an amphora or a geometric proof. I carry that into code: elegance and function do not compete — they require each other.

Java developer focused on RESTful APIs and microservices with the Spring ecosystem (Boot, Cloud, Security) and Hibernate. I build scalable solutions with messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Neo4j) and containerized environments with Docker — always with an eye on system performance and integrity. I also work with Node.js/NestJS and TypeScript.

  • SOLID over cleverness.
  • Clean Code and Design Patterns as discipline.
  • Performance and integrity > impressing.

The Craft

Four domains, one discipline.

Α

Frontend

τὸ φαινόμενον — what shows itself

Interfaces like temples: proportion, rhythm and light. Vue, React and an obsession with the detail no one notices — but everyone feels.

  • Vue
  • React · Next
  • Svelte
  • TypeScript
Β

Backend

τὰ θεμέλια — the foundations

The invisible structure that holds up the visible. RESTful APIs and microservices in the Java/Spring ecosystem — Boot, Security, Data — built to scale and outlast a season. Node.js and NestJS when the project asks for them.

  • Java · Spring Boot
  • Spring Security · Data
  • Kafka · RabbitMQ
  • PostgreSQL · Hibernate
  • Neo4j
  • Node.js · NestJS
Γ

Architecture

ἡ τάξις — the order

Decisions made today that tomorrow's self will thank. Microservices, scale, clarity and the courage to remove before adding.

  • Microsserviços
  • SOLID
  • CI/CD
  • Docker
Δ

Craft

ἡ ἀρετή — excellence

It's not the framework, it's the craft. Readable, tested, honest code — made to be read by humans.

  • Clean Code
  • Design Patterns
  • Testing
  • Performance

Experience

Where craft met the real world.

May 2025 — Present

Full-Stack Developer / Back-end Java

  • Migrated the scheduling architecture to a queue-based asynchronous model with Kafka, ensuring 100% consistency and scalability in report generation and eliminating concurrency bottlenecks at peak times.
  • Optimized the health insurance system by 42% with tuned queries and graph modeling in Neo4j.
  • Integrated the billing system with the payroll deductions of the FAB (Brazilian Air Force), expanding revenue and reducing manual reconciliation through automated processing of fixed-width files.
  • Redesigned end to end (front-end and back-end logic) the new plan sales flow, increasing new-user conversion.
  • Built end to end the new accounting module (dynamic screens + business rules), getting ahead on OpenFinance readiness and ensuring structural compliance of financial data.
  • Applied security practices in Java development with Spring Security, reducing reported vulnerabilities by 60%.
